(REVIEW) Iced Sugar Plum by Bath & Body Works "Holiday Traditions 2022"

I’ve been gatekeeping this scent for a year now, but in this review I am putting an end to my “Gatekeep Era” as I personally celebrate this scent’s 1 year anniversary!

Bath & Body Works Iced Sugar Plum is part of the new Holiday Traditions scent that came out in 2022 along with 5 of the OG scents and consists of only Fine Fragrance Mist, Body Lotion, Body Cream, and Shower Gel. It is the only new fragrance from the Holiday Traditions collection which also is a Limited Edition fragrance.

Iced Sugar Plum is described as being a fruity, creamy christmas candies with notes of Sparkling Sugar Plum, Snowdrop Petals, and Whipped Marshmallow

And ghorl, as soon as I saw Whipped Marshmallow in the fragrance notes, I did not hesitate to stock up. And I am proud to say that I own 5 mists, 6 lotions, and only a couple of shower gels.. Womp womp!! This scent is super underrated, and deserves a lot more attention! But do not overhype this scent if you don’t want it to be overpriced, that’s facts my dear!

It also comes in this bold, festive, and bright blue packaging with snowflakes, cute penguins, and swirled marbling christmas accents, it was surely a treat for the eyes! But do not run your fingernails on the label as it is very delicate.. You have been warned!

I only purchased the Fine Fragrance Mist, Body Lotion, and the Shower Gel, because again, the body creams go bad quicker.. Uhhh body cream who?? LOL, and now let's get on with the review!

  • First up is the Fine Fragrance Mist, and upon initial sprays I get a WHOLE LOT of that Whipped Marshmallow note, it is very creamy and fluffy like that freshly made gooey marshmallows with vanilla and powdered sugar, and the Sparkling Sugar Plum mixes in very well giving this scent a more dewy, juicy, dark plum, and sugary accent to it, it is not sour, there’s not a single hint of sour note in it for me. I also only get a good amount of the Snowdrop Petals which only comes out in the drydown, and in case you are not familiar with Snowdrop Petals, it doesn’t smell too floraly which is unusual, in fact I smell some type of a praline essence in it, like a nutty honey crackers, so I am proud to say that this scent is serving Gourmand Eleganza!

For longevity, I suggest layering it with the lotion of the same scent to give you that sillage realness that you’re looking for, it’ll last at least 4-5 hours.

  • The next one is the Body Lotion, and the scent is kinda giving me life as well! The scent on the lotion projects so well on my skin, the smell lingers around me, only that it has more sugary sweet plum with little to no floral at all! And it still has that creamy, vanillic, and gooey marshmallow smell, again super underrated fragrance!

  • The next variant, which is the Shower Gel, comes in the elegant frosted bottle, but Bath & Body Works is inconsistent with their packaging so you don’t always get the same exact bottle, I saw newer batches that comes in clear bottles, so I just want to let you know in case you are trying to collect this. The scent in the shower gel has more creamy marshmallow, you can still smell the juicy, sugary, sweet plum, and no floral at all!

I enjoy all of the three variants that I picked up, they all smell amazing! But if you want to elevate that Marshmallow scent, I suggest layering it with Victoria’s Secret Vanilla Sapphire Orchid or Calgon Marshmallow!

I am also happy to say that it is safe for Blind Buy and I’m glad I did stock up, we don’t know when this is coming back, or we might not be able to see it again for a long time. So if you currently own this fragrance, I’d love to know your thoughts!
